was created in 2000 for 3rd world countries who desire to decrease poverty,
hunger and increase economic growth and health by 2030. Many organizations,
governments & NHO's are contributing. Health Volunteers Overseas is the
organization I'm working with. I chose Bhutan because they are trying to create
a CRNA school and a national organization.
are experienced CRNAs who have returned for a 2-year residency for a Master’s
degree. They will be the leaders and teachers of Bhutan's CRNAs. There are 3
Bhutanese MDAs, the rest are CRNAs who practice independently. All are civil
servants on a fixed salary at Jigme Dorgi Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH).
